The last post I wrote here was about how great things were going. I should have known better to write those words down because the very next day my computer died. My 2 1/2 year old iBook took with it all my files, my emails and most importantly, the new edits I had written for the book. As I sat crying at Tekserve (I'm not proud), I realized that it was time to take up yoga again. Or drinking.
After ponying up money for a new hard-drive, I'm back, baby! And while this is usually the time of year that I kvetch about the Empire State Building being perpetually green and red, I'm not going there this year. We have one more month of this glorious view of Manhattan before we move to Brooklyn, and I'm going to enjoy every minute of it.
(For those of you disappointed by no ranting I assure you that something will piss me off soon enough and then I'll post about that. Until then....)
